Introducing ‘The Heart of Life is Health’

Since our incorporation in 1963, here at Pennine we have continually tried to bring our values to life, delivering superior value to our customers, supporting our esteemed colleagues, and looking to enrich the communities in which we operate.

In 2021, we became an Employee-Owned Trust, cementing our commitment to our employees and rewarding our staff for their hard work over the years.

This week we are pleased to be celebrating 3 years as an EOT, and to mark the anniversary, are launching our new campaign – ‘The Heart of Life is Health’.

As a conceptual banner for all our CSR efforts, The Heart of Life is Health covers everything from Charity Football Matches, Lunch Time Yoga Sessions, and the running of Derby 10k’s. It is aimed at supporting our colleagues’ well-being while ensuring our commitment to delivering high quality and reliable products to our customers.

But that’s not all. The ‘Heart of Life is Health’ also runs much deeper than just giving our colleagues opportunities to improve their physical health:

It’s the training of Mental Health First Aiders

It’s the Performance Accountability check-ins with your manager

It’s the products we make here at Pennine HQ

Simply put, the ‘Heart of Life is Health’ is the fundamental belief that there is no greater importance than your health and wellbeing!
