We are excited to celebrate International Women’s Day with a range of meaningful activities aimed at fostering awareness, appreciation, and support for women in the workplace and beyond.
This year, we started the celebrations early and distributed International Women’s Day envelopes to each female colleague earlier in the month. Inside they found:
To show our support for our chosen charity of the year, colleagues were encouraged to wear purple for the occasion! As part of our fundraising efforts, each participant donated £1, with proceeds going towards Safe and Sound. So, what did we get up to?
10am: Coffee and Cake
To create a warm and inclusive atmosphere, we provided tea, coffee, and personalised International Women’s Day cakes, allowing our colleagues to take a break, share conversations, and reflect on the importance of this day.
10.15am: Presentation From Giovanna Forte
We were honoured to have welcomed Giovanna Forte, CEO at Forte Medical Ltd and creator of Peezy Midstream, as our guest speaker for all colleagues during her morning session. Giovanna’s innovative work in the healthcare industry and her advocacy for women’s health undoubtedly inspired our team, sparking important conversations about the challenges and triumphs of women in the workplace and society.

10.45am: Prize Winners Presentation
Our four lucky scratchcard winners were delighted to receive their luxury hampers, awarded as part of our International Women’s Day celebrations. These prizes were won through the IWD envelopes distributed to our amazing team, adding an extra touch of excitement to the occasion! Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to everyone who took part in celebrating this special day with us!
