We’re celebrating today at Pennine HQ, as we mark our first EO Day as a company. For those of who you may not know, EO Day sees thousands of employee owners, EO businesses and supporters of Employee Ownership come together to raises awareness of the benefits of employee ownership.
You may recall we became one of the growing bands of forward-looking companies to set up an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT), back March this year and we, as a business, are now building the foundations of our EOT as we continue to grow together as a company.
To celebrate EO Day we have a whole day of activities planned. To begin, all staff are being treated to free hot drinks and some sweet treats to thank them for their hard work. All staff will also be treated to an extra break on the day itself, to enjoy the offerings. We are launching a new Company Newsletter, to share all EOT and wider company news, and will also be rewarding staff with our Long Service Awards presentation, celebrating staff who have hit work milestones – including some members of staff who have worked at Pennine for 30 years!
