Read the story below to find out more about our UK Manufactured Face Coverings Supplied To Collins Aerospace:
We are delighted to have fulfilled an order from the aerospace and defence products specialists for 96,000 Face Coverings.
The face coverings are produced onsite here at Pennine HQ, after we partnered up with the Cabinet Office to help in the fight against COVID-19, as reported at the start of the year.
Collins Aerospace Systems in Wolverhampton placed the order, which has now been fulfilled, in order to help protect its staff that cannot effectively work from home during the pandemic.
Ben Madoc, Supply Chain Director, Actuation Systems at Collins Aerospace said: “The health and wellbeing of our employees, and their families, remains our top priority. In addition to the UK Government requirements, we have implemented additional OVID-19 precautionary measures for all of our workforce, including those employees that are unable to work from home, and the face coverings supplied by Pennine Healthcare have been a key part of those measures.”
We are proud that millions of coverings can be produced on a weekly basis here at Pennine. They are tested and approved by the British Standards Institution (BSI) under the new-face covering Kitemark scheme and are also certified to AFNOR Spec S76-001.
Luke Fryer, Chief Executive Officer at Pennine Healthcare, states: “I’m delighted that Collins Aerospace placed their trust in us and we were able to fulfil their order on time to help keep their workforce safe.
“The face coverings are made on-site, here at Pennine, and we’re only a handful of businesses able to produce the coverings here in the UK – with specialised machinery now installed in our clean room.
“We will continue to supply both public and private sector buyers, whilst also stocking face coverings and other PPE products on our consumer website – www.arma-health.com.”
